is a Miami based photographer and jazz trumpeter whose work lives at the intersection of performance and visual storytelling. Originally from Marquette, Michigan, she began her artistic training at Interlochen Arts Academy (2020-2022) before moving to Miami to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Trumpet Performance at the University of Miami (2022-2026), where she also earned an art minor.
As a musician, Savannah has performed with the Grammy nominated Frost Jazz Orchestra under Grammy-winning and nominated director Dr. John Daversa, Studio Jazz Band led by Etienne Charles, and ensembles at Interlochen Arts Academy. Her dual identity as both performer and documentarian gives her a rare perspective, one that understands the emotional and technical layers of music from the inside out.
Her photographic practice is rooted in capturing the energy, nuance, and humanity of live performance. As a photographer for the Frost Media Team (2024-2026) and the University of Miami’s Jazz Department (2022-2024), she has documented concerts, recitals, studio classes, and campus events, creating visual narratives for social media, archival use, and published articles. Her work has appeared in the South Florida Classical Review and in exhibitions such as Moments in Melody (2025) at the University of Miami’s Richter Library.
Beyond the stage, Savannah has photographed in dynamic environments ranging from summer camps in New Hampshire and New York to university masterclasses and community programs. As well as working in a studio to create portraits and album art. Her experience spans digital photography, editing and retouching, project management, and collaborative creative work, with proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. She also has some experience with videography and video editing.
Savannah’s work is driven by curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to preserve fleeting moments of connection. Whether behind the camera or the trumpet, she is committed to creating art that resonates, reveals, and captures moments that might normally slip away.
